I have a midmark m7 and It is in need of repair and I really need help figuring out what is going on….

It turns on, heats up and seems to work great until several minutes into the cycle, steam comes out the back of the unit through the vents and a little water, (Im assuming condensation from the steam) gathers around the back side base of the unit…..when I then vent the unit, it vents in no time as most of the steam has escaped the vessel….Where could the steam be leaking from and is this repairable?

    Please help!!

    Hi Brandon,

    There could be several possibilities.

The first thing you need to do is to pinpoint the leak on your Midmark M7 autoclave.

Remove the cabinet and set it aside. Run a cycle and the leak should become obvious. (Be careful not to touch anything. You are merely observing) Use caution, the autoclave gets very hot and there will be live steam leaking…keep your face and hands away from the unit

Once we know where the leak is, we will know what to do to correct it.

Please post what you find here so others can benefit from your experience

By the way, be sure to download the free Midmark M7 Factory Service Manual for your autoclave from http://www.AllClaveParts.com if you haven’t done so already.

    It’s the real thing
